Drum Farm Studio lives inside a 100-year-old granary barn on a working organic farm in Wisconsin — and the building itself is half the reason it sounds the way it does. The walls are lined with original old-growth lumber from the farm’s own historic structures, some boards three feet wide, giving the space a natural warmth and character that is entirely its own. With ceiling heights ranging from 8 to 24 feet across more than 1,400 square feet of studio space, the barn offers a range of acoustic environments within a single building.
Whether you’re recording a full album or cutting a few demos, Drum Farm has the setting, the gear, and the right people to make it sound the way you hear it in your head. The studio draws on a deep network of world-class session players from Minneapolis and Nashville, matched to your project and your sound. And because it’s not about the clock here, you leave with something you’re actually proud of.
